Delta to offer free Wi-Fi on most domestic flights
Delta Air Lines has some big news for frequent flyers at CES 2023: The airline will soon offer free WiFi on most domestic flights. About 80% of its fleet will offer free WiFi by February. Note, however, that you must be a member of their SkyMiles frequent flyer program to use the free WiFi.
John Deere continues to revolutionize agriculture
John Deere — yes, the green and yellow tractor company — has some of its most innovative products at CES 2023. It showcased ExactShot, a robot-based fertilization system and a new electric excavator. ExactShot uses sensors and robots to place fertilizer exactly where it is needed, rather than pouring it continuously. At the same time, electric excavators achieve zero emissions without sacrificing power.

Android joins Apple in satellite-based text messaging future
Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon Satellite at CES 2023, which will effectively allow people who buy a new Android phone later this year to send two-way text messages using satellite. The idea is that the feature could come in handy for people who need to communicate but don’t have cell coverage.
Android will automatically transfer music from your car to your phone
Google unveiled a new feature at CES 2023 called “Non-stop Listening,” which automatically transfers your current music or podcast from one device to another, depending on where you are. For users focused on the Android ecosystem, this means you can, for example, leave your car and have your music playback automatically streamed to your phone.

Razer made a headrest that lets you feel the joy of gaming

Android Auto gets a new look
Google announced at CES 2023 a major redesign of the Android experience in cars. Among the changes: moving the map view closer to the driver, quick launchers for frequently used apps, and progress bars for podcasts and songs.

BMW showed off its i Vision Dee concept car, which allows drivers to change and mix 32 different colors on board.
Sony announces its electric car “Afeela”
Sony announced at CES 2023 that it is working with Honda to build an electric car called Afeela. It will have a number of cool features, such as a display built into the front bumper. It is scheduled to ship in 2026.

Lenovo shows off a headphone-free Metaverse
Tech giant Lenovo has launched a series of products, the strangest of which may be a headset-free virtual world device. Code-named Project Chronos, the project will capture a person’s movements, down to their facial expressions, so they can participate in events happening in a virtual environment.

Aeolus Robotics showed off its adorable robot called Aeo, which is designed to perform tasks like disinfecting surfaces, opening doors and carrying items. It even takes a selfie. Oh…it also acts as a security guard, thanks in part to its 360-degree night-vision camera—kind of not fun.

Ring Car Cam is finally available for purchase
After numerous delays and false starts, customers can now pre-order the Ring Car Cam. Amazon’s popular security company has designed a camera with a dual-sided camera that can detect break-ins and be able to check in on your car through the Ring app.
