Remembering to update your contacts with new email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses can be difficult. But if you receive this information in an email or message, Siri’s data detection feature can help. Open Contacts on your Mac and press the Down arrow key to cycle through your contacts. When you see a message that contains light gray information and parentheses (for example (Siri Found in Mail)), click the ⓘ button ➊ on the right to see some context in the source message. If the information is correct, click Add to Contacts ➋ to keep it.
