Magnetic Fuji switches, spill-proof and unique layout
Only recently have we seen the Hall effect in joysticks, using magnetic fields instead of traditional ways to track your movements, allowing for a smoother and more accurate experience. Recently, the Hall effect has been used in keyboards because it allows you to easily program a key’s actuation point, usually on a per-key basis. The Polar 65 is Arbiter Studio’s first keyboard, and based on TechPowerUp’s experience with the keyboard, they’re a name worth keeping an eye on.
The design includes two-tone PBT keycaps and a CNC aluminum frame, and not only does it feature removable keycaps, but it also features hot-swappable switches (if you want to try something other than pre-lubricated Fuji switches). The software that controls the keyboard lets you adjust the actuation from 0.1 to 3.8 mm, and you also have access to a rapid-fire feature. It also handles RGBitis on the mouse.
You can buy the POoar 65 ready-made for $150, or get one without keycaps for $125, so you can add your own keycaps. See them all here.
