you. This October will mark the 10th anniversary of the launch of Hit Point Cat Atsume, this adorable kitten collecting sim has been a huge success and essentially created a cozy sub-genre of pet collecting life sims. Of course, the English version didn’t come out until about a year later, but, where did the time go? Regardless, ten years is a long time for a mobile game, especially when it’s a game that the developers probably didn’t expect to be as successful as it was, or that it would need to be maintained for years to come. hour. So, to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary, Hit-Point has announced that a sequel is in the works and will be released this summer. The sequel is called… cat cat 2! Who could have foreseen this happening?
It’s unclear if the summer release window will include regions outside of Japan as well, but given how popular the series is right now, I’d assume they’re hoping for a global release, but that’s just speculation on my part. There’s also some information about existing games available on the newly launched Neko Atsume portal. They mentioned that they will continue to do their best to update the original game, but their focus will be on the sequel, as it sounds like the new game will be designed from the ground up, with frequent content updates, and long-term support in mind.I look forward to seeing how my kitten collecting virtual life will improve cat cat 2 Launching later this year. Please look forward to it.
