Sculptor Arun Yogiraj wins internet’s attention by sharing unseen photos of Ram Lalla idol

Arun Yogiraj, the sculptor who created the Ram Lalla idol, which is now located at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, shared unseen photos of the statue on social media (Ram Mandir) in the temple.

About Ram Lalla Idol

Before the consecration ceremony on January 22, the idol of Ram Lalla was placed inside the Ram Mandir. This statue shows Lord Rama at the age of five, standing on a lotus. This 51-inch idol is made of sky blue Krishna Shila (black schist).

Eyes done in 20 minutes

Earlier, in an exclusive chat with WION, Yogiraj said that the eyes of the idol were made in 20 minutes because of an auspicious muhurat.

“But, making the eyes takes 20 minutes of muhurat (auspicious time). So, we have 20 minutes to complete the work on the eyes,” he told WION.

Who is Arun Yogiraj?

Arun Yogiraj is an Indian sculptor from the southern state of Karnataka. He belongs to a famous sculptural lineage. Yogiraj started his career in the corporate world after completing his MBA, but returned to his roots in 2008.

Since then, he has continued to create beautiful sculptures that have helped him win global acclaim.
