Indian retailers posted posters of the vivo V30 and vivo V30 Pro last week in preparation for the launch of the two phones, but Vivo did not reveal whether the two phones will be launched in India. Now, the brand has announced that the V30 and V30 Pro are coming to India.
Vivo has set up a promotion page for the V30 and V30 Pro on its official Indian website, previewing the release of the V30 in India. Vivo hasn’t revealed a launch date yet, but it gave us a glimpse of the V30 Pro’s design and revealed the color options for the Indian market – Classic Black, Andaman Blue, and Malachite Green.
Vivo says the colors are “exclusively designed for India” as Malachite Green is inspired by the feathers of India’s national bird, the peacock, while Andaman Blue “celebrates the vibrant spirit of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and embodies the rich colors of the Indian Ocean” .”
The vivo V30 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup at the rear, including a 50MP main camera (with OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide angle, and a 50MP telephoto unit. It also comes with a squirrel-shaped flash called the Aura Light Portrait.
In addition, the vivo V30 Pro, known as the “thinnest mobile phone in 2024”, will be equipped with Zeiss tuning and Zeiss-style portrait filters, including Biotar, Sonar, Cine-flare, Cinematic, Planar and Distagon. We’ve seen these filters on vivo’s X series phones before, and the V30 Pro will be the first smartphone in the V series to feature these Zeiss filters. It is also the first V-series smartphone to feature enhanced features from ZEISS.
The vivo V30 Pro will feature a 120Hz curved display with a center punch-hole for the selfie camera, and vivo Thailand previously confirmed that the display will use a 50MP sensor. The smartphone is also confirmed to come with a 5,000 mAh battery. We’ll know all the specs and features of the V30 Pro when it launches in Thailand on February 28.
