There’s a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase today, but from your perspective, I assume it’s already happened. I’m sure there’s some good stuff in there! Even without knowing what surprises we might have in store, there are still some new releases on the calendar to work on. After that, we have a regular list of new and upcoming sales. As I write this, the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase is five hours away. By the time you read this, it will surely have gone up. Although I’d heard the rumors, I didn’t really know what the 25-minute presentation would be about. All I can do is suggest you give it a watch and we’ll catch up on the news tomorrow.

Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story ($24.99)
yordles come from League of Legends Get their own crafting RPG from the developers Graveyard Keeper. It has an attractive look, and on paper its mechanics seem sound. From what I’ve heard from our friend Mikhail (who will be reviewing the game for us), the game’s performance is a bit rough. Well, I guess we’ll see once he puts it through his paces.
Tenderfoot Tactics ($14.99)
This tactical turn-based RPG launched on Steam a few years ago and seems to have been a hit with fans of the genre. It has a unique sense of style, gives you a vast open world to explore, and avoids random elements in combat. Note that some players find the game a bit too opaque in many aspects, and it’s an RPG where everything levels up as you go. I’m personally not a big fan of this, but it’s okay sometimes. I’ll have to try it myself and see how I take it.
Froggie – Retro Platformer ($4.99)
There are several different games vying for your five bucks today, and this is the universal precision platformer among them. It offers a hundred levels and doesn’t look like it’s doing anything particularly original, but at this price I don’t think it needs to. Well, it has a cute frog. That’s not what it is.
Geometry Survivor ($4.99)
Learn from classic aesthetics geometry war and marry them to a simple man vampire survivor Game structure, that’s what you get. Another five dollar game, another five dollar experience.I wouldn’t choose it vampire survivor Same price, but if you want to mix it up it might be nice.
The Time Traveler’s Guide to Gourmet Food of the Past ($4.99)
A bizarre story about a sock puppet who travels back in time to enjoy recipes from the past. It’s a narrative-driven experience with some light exploration and very simple cooking mechanics. So, yes, if today’s other five-dollar games seem too orthodox, you can get your weirdo on this one.
