MWC 2024 is in full swing with technology brands taking to the show floor to showcase their latest innovations and products. Honor launched the Magic 6 Pro ahead of the event, and today we take a look at Lenovo’s ThinkBook laptop with a transparent display. Now, OPPO has launched its latest smart glasses, Air Glass 3, bringing AI and GPT to wearable devices.
The main highlight of Air Glass 3 is its ability to use artificial intelligence to provide information to the user. Smart glasses support multimodal input, including text, images, video, and audio, which are then processed to provide visual and audio output to the user. Users only need to press the temples of Air Glass 3 to activate the AI voice assistant.
Air Glass 3 then forwards the input information to AndesGPT, which runs on the Air Glass app on the smartphone paired with the smart glasses. Finally, after processing the information, the smart glasses display visual and audio output to the user. In addition, Air Glass 3 also supports touch control for music playback, calls, information display, etc.
In terms of hardware, Air Glass 3 weighs only 50 grams, has a refractive index of 1.70, and a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. OPPO claims Air Glass 3 offers a wearing experience close to that of standard glasses, while also offering the benefit of a full-color display. The glasses also come with four microphones and open-back headphones for better audio quality.
