Samsung launched the Galaxy Ring yesterday on the first day of MWC 2024. While we didn’t get a full spec sheet and pricing details, Samsung did introduce some basic information like dimensions, sleep tracking capabilities, and vitality scoring features.Korean publications FN News Some battery details shared by Samsung MX Digital Health Director Hon Pak are being added.
Pak confirmed that the battery life of the Galaxy Ring is between 5 and 9 days. Exact numbers may vary, but we’ve also heard that the larger Galaxy Ring models (Galaxy Ring US sizes 5-13) will come with larger batteries. This means that smaller Galaxy Rings may approach the 5-day limit, while larger models can offer up to 9 days of battery life on a single charge.
In related news (via The Elec), Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will launch in the second half of this year. As previously rumored, this will likely coincide with the second Galaxy Unpacked event in July.
