Apple Car: A long-term effort
It is believed that Appleās latest strategy for the car is to postpone the release to 2028 and downgrade the self-driving capabilities from Level 4 to Level 2 and above. The Cupertino company is said to have a price target of $100,000.
Still, it capped off a roughly decade-long project. The project is said to have started in 2014, when Apple attracted many employees from automakers such as Mercedes and Tesla. However, it has also gone through several changes in leadership during its existence.
