Avatar 3 Set to launch next year – However, after the launch of the first products, we are well beyond the 3D craze and very few people today have a 3D-capable display in their home, let alone a naked-eye display. Last year, ZTE launched the nubia Pad 3D with a naked-eye 3D display. Now the company has launched the second-generation model with significant improvements.
nubia Pad 3D II is positioned as “the world’s first 5G+AI naked-eye 3D tablet.” It’s a mouthful, but it’s correct. The previous model had a Snapdragon 888 chipset and no cellular connectivity. This product is equipped with the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and has 5G capabilities.
AI solves the problem of lack of 3D content – the previous model also had a 2D to 3D converter, but the new Neovision 3D Anytime is better. It works with pictures, videos (including streaming) and even games.
Vastly improved naked-eye 3D display
The display is a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels (16:10), a refresh rate of 144Hz, and an LCD lens that promises to increase 3D resolution by 80% and double the brightness in 3D mode. Additionally, it reduces 3D crosstalk and improves 3D color and power efficiency.
The display offers an 86° viewing angle, allowing multiple people to view the 3D effect at the same time. Additionally, it can be used in both landscape and portrait modes.
The tablet can convert any 2D image to 3D, even images streamed from your phone
Tablets can also host content from other devices. For example, if you have a ZTE phone, you can wirelessly transfer apps from your phone to your tablet and then interact with it in 3D. You can also use Miracast to cast images to your tablet. Additionally, you can drag and drop 3D models from your laptop and preview them on your tablet.
nubia Pad 3D II can also be used to create 3D content. It has a dual 13MP camera on the back and a dual 8MP camera on the front that can capture 3D photos and images. With the new AI engine, the optimal range of subjects is now 2.5 times wider, so it’s easier to capture great photos.
Create 3D content easily
The tablet features four DTS:X Ultra-enabled speakers that create an immersive 3D soundscape that matches the 3D images. These are 1W full range speakers. Additionally, there are two microphones with noise-canceling capabilities.
nubia Pad 3D II is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 10,000mAh battery
We already mentioned that the tablet is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It comes with LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The tablet has a 10,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The nubia Pad 3D II has been announced on ZTE’s official website, but no release date or price has been mentioned yet, but we’ll be keeping an eye out.
