T-Mobile has been a leader in 5G home internet for the past few years. Now, in addition to serving tens of millions of homes in the contiguous 48 states, T-Mobile 5G Home Internet is also available in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico.
T-Mobile is significantly expanding its 5G home internet in the United States by 2022, covering more than 50 million homes.
Convenient services are now available in Puerto Rico as well. Un-Carrier shared the news in a press release this morning:
T-Mobile is rolling out 5G home internet service to non-carrier customers in Puerto Rico, underscoring the company’s commitment to making fast, reliable broadband more accessible. The move reinforces Un-Carrier’s goal to provide customers with more internet choices and shake up the broadband world with much-needed competition. T-Mobile customers in Puerto Rico with a qualifying address and a qualifying voice line can now sign up for 5G home internet through AutoPay at their local retail store for just $50 per month.
Currently, the service is only available to T-Mobile customers with voice lines. As we’ve covered before, here are some of the advantages of T-Mobile 5G home internet:
- Fixed price, $50 per month
- Easily set up yourself in 15 minutes
- 15 days free trial
- price lock
- Speeds up to 245 Mbps
Availability in Puerto Rico is currently limited “where there is network capacity to provide a good experience for all customers.”
