It’s a dark day for Darkhawk in latest ‘Marvel Snap’ update – TouchArcade

Yes, that seems to be the time.you know, when Marvel Snapshot (Free) A balance update a week before the end of the season threw things into a last-minute mess, forcing us to rebuild the deck in a hurry. My child! But neither did I. We call it a loving jab. Regardless, a lot of the cards’ stats have changed this time around, and I can almost guarantee that these adjustments will impact at least one of the decks most of you are playing. Let’s go over it all and see if we can’t make sense of it.

Well, let’s take a look at one of the larger ones first. This time Blackhawk’s chin was caught by a sturdy sock, and I think he succeeded. He went from a 4 cost 0 power card to a 5 cost 4 power card. While this doesn’t seem too bad on the surface, it means you won’t be able to get the Blackhawk there quickly or easily. The friendship with Zab was over. This is also where he will part ways with Mr. Negative. I think he’ll still find a place, but this is definitely a nerf.

Another popular card has been cropped a bit. Lockjaw was a 3 cost 2 power card, now he’s a 4 cost 5 power card. This extra power is nice, but taking Lockjaw out after one turn leaves him with one less turn to complete his mission. On the other hand, we might see cats and dogs living together, as Zabu would pair well with him. Supposedly this was done to limit Hela and Thanos’ decks, and I can’t help but feel like maybe they should have been nerfed instead of the puppies.

Adam Warlock’s stats have undergone a confusing change. He used to be a 2 cost 0 energy card, now he’s a 5 cost 4 energy card. His ability allows you to draw a card each turn, but pushing him to a 5 cost makes this feature less useful. I don’t think his strength buff even makes up for that. It’s weird because supposedly this was done to help Adam, but I can’t help but feel like this will result in him having fewer appearances.

The Forge and America Chavez are ships passing by at night in this update. America changed from a 2-Cost 3-Power card to a 1-Cost 2-Power card, while Forge changed from a 1-Cost 1-Power card to a 2-Cost 2-Power card. I can definitely understand the change to Forge, as he’s become almost the default 1-Cost card due to his help ability. I’m not sure I understand what’s going on with America, but she’s been struggling since the redo, so I guess the idea is to see what the change will do for her.

Weaken, weaken, weaken. Are there any buffs in this pack? Yes, there are several. Ant-Man! Previously if you hit his position full he would gain +3 strength, now he will gain +4 strength. Of course, that’s fine. Likewise, the Vulture used to gain +5 Strength when moving, now he will gain +6 Strength. Finally, the Sword Master gets a bit of a stat boost, going from 3-Cost 6-Power to 3-Cost 7-Power. That’s all here.

Yes, it is like that. I think we’ll get more changes when the new season starts next week. Of course, we’ll check all of that out when the time comes. These balance adjustments often seem to spell bad news for my decks, and this one is no exception in that regard. But what do you think about this? Do you need to rebuild your deck and strategy? Let me know in the comments below.
