long story short
- The Galaxy S24 series will soon receive the March 2024 security update.
- The update includes security and stability improvements.
- European owners appear to be receiving the update first.
When it comes to the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has been leading the way when it comes to updates. Just two weeks ago, the company released an update to fix camera and display issues. Now Samsung has loaded the March security patch and is preparing to roll it out.
Today, Samsung started releasing security updates for this month’s S24 series. The latest patch comes with firmware versions ending with AXBG. Unlike the patch from two weeks ago, this one focuses solely on security and stability improvements.
For now, the update appears to be only available to owners living in Europe. But before long, its rollout should expand to the U.S. and other regions.
To see if the patch is available for a device that’s just a month old, you can simply head to Settings. Once you open Settings, find “Software Update” and you should see a button that says “Download and install update if available.”
The March update has a smaller changelog, so the download size will be quite small.
