Hello everyone. It’s time again for a list of great Nintendo Switch games at reasonable prices. This time, we’re venturing into the extremely crowded territory of shooters. As a general rule, the regular price of a game must be under ten dollars, which is just the minimum restriction for the genre. Seriously, I still have twenty games on my shortlist that need to be cut off. For now, I’ve narrowed it down to ten fun games that you can get for less than ten bucks. We’re going to go through my picks one by one in no particular order. Let the game begin!
Danmaku Unlimited 3 ($9.99)
I tried to show a variety of games in this list, but we’ll at least have some bullet hell games. Danmaku unlimited 3 is a special, pure interpretation of the concept that manages to tease out a variety of styles from a rather minimalist presentation. The game mechanics are polished and will keep you coming back again and again to try and improve your score.
AngerForce: Reloaded ($9.99)
Another vertical shooter, and another one with tons of bullets. Choose from a cast of quirky characters and embark on an intense journey through several exciting levels. The enemy patterns are interesting, and so are the boss battles. The developers clearly had Cave’s stellar output in mind when making this game, and they’ve done a great job of paying such strong homage. The original version of the game is nearly a decade old as of this writing, but it feels like it might be coming this week.
Capcom Arcade Stadium: Progear ($1.99)
Initially, I didn’t see a way to include any actual cave games in this list, then I remembered this gem, which you can buy separately Capcom Playground. While Cave is probably best known for its vertical shooters, it’s no slouch when it comes to crafting epic horizontal experiences. Progil This is its first attempt of its kind, and it’s quite enjoyable. Its engaging steampunk presentation really makes it stand out, but it’s the great gameplay that will keep you coming back for more.
rRootage Reload($5.00)
This game is more for genre purists than any other, but if you fall into that group, you’ll find there’s a lot to enjoy here. This is essentially a remake of the 2003 indie shooter, and using its versatile building blocks, it offers different modes that evoke memories. Turtle Dove Psyvariarand Giga Wing. It may not look as fancy as some of the other games on this list, but for value for money, it’s hard to beat. The mechanics here are varied and you can play for hours and still not get bored.
Skyforce Anniversary Edition ($9.99)
Okay, I promised some variety, let’s get started. Unlike other games on this list so far, Sky Power Anniversary It’s not a barrage hell game. In fact, the game doesn’t take much from Japanese shooters. Rather, its origins can be traced back to the shooting games that were popular on European computers at the time. Lots of grinding, lots of upgrades, and a bunch of extra objectives and systems to deal with. This isn’t a game where you’re constantly trying to improve your score, but it’s quite engaging nonetheless.
Missile Dancer ($9.99)
Indie developer TERARIN has made a variety of fun shooters, but this is the only one you can buy for less than $10. He seems to have a real fondness for PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 shooters, especially those with interesting scoring systems and timed caravan modes. missile dancer Featuring a cool lock-on system that encourages players to get closer to enemies, and a heavy emphasis on chain kills to boost your score. This is really the core of the game, so if you’re not interested in chasing scores, you might want to check out the other games on this list.
Starship X Project ($9.99)
The game offers a roguelite style of gameplay that mixes things together in an enjoyable way that will keep you on your toes. It’s also very character-focused and humorous, so if you need a bit of mustard in your shooters, you’ll find it here. There’s a lot of thought packed into this game, and since it mixes and matches elements so cleverly, you’ll almost never run out of things to do. These aspects make it less interesting as a scoring attacker, but its qualities are very good in its own right.
Asteroids: Recharge ($9.99)
I wanted to pay a little homage to one of the earlier names in the genre, and you can’t get much earlier than Atari. asteroid remains one of the company’s most enduring games, and this one Charged The version adds some interesting new elements to the game, making it even more interesting. At the same time, it does not abandon those things that make it possible. asteroid so good.this Charged line can sometimes feel like a forced addition to the canon, but here it feels completely natural. It’s a very different game than the others on this list, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Arcade Archives Gradius II ($7.99)
Well, I’m cashing in on my “one Arcade Archives“Choose now. There are tons of shooters online Arcade Archives, which is somewhat of a dream for fans of the genre.I could easily pick twenty great games, but I decided Step 2 It’s this one.
