The Saga, Cricket Through the Ages and more released and sold – TouchArcade

Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for March 1, 2024. In today’s article, we’ll look at the rest of this week’s releases. There was some really good stuff today, but the dump certainly didn’t go home hungry. We also provide you with the usual list of new promotions and expiring discounts, but that’s it. After yesterday’s excitement, I’m glad it’s a little quieter today. Anyway, let’s get on with the show.

new version

Ufouria 2: Legend ($24.99)

Ufolia One of the classics in the NES library, it earned some notoriety as one of the few top Japanese games to be released in Europe rather than North America. This follow-up was a gorgeous revamp of the game while also remaining relatively faithful to the original gameplay. A big difference here is that each time you enter these areas it’s a little different, and I’m not sure I’d call that a good thing. It has one foot in the remake category and the other in the sequel category, but overall, I enjoyed what I played. I’ll have a review for you early next week.

Cricket Through the Ages ($7.99)

We all like a bit of physics-based silliness from time to time, and that’s what it’s about today. It’s a hilarious and incredibly accurate look at cricket history for one or two players, letting you play through nine modes of action. I mean, look at the screenshot above. It’s like something out of a textbook. Our friend Mikhail is testing this and will let you all know his thoughts soon.

Another Dungeon 2 ($14.99)

It’s a great-looking follow-up to the original game, and plays in a very familiar way. This is a first-person roguelite action game where you have to explore dungeons and try to solve them. You have access to a variety of attack options, and there are five different areas to explore. Big, annoying boss? Oh yes, it has some. If you enjoyed the first game, this is an easy recommendation. If you are participating for the first time, I would say you can start here.

Kaido($13.00)

Based on a real board game, this is a game where candies are placed on the board in a specific way. Up to four players can enjoy this fun via local multiplayer. If you’re willing to learn and can find others around you who can do the same thing, this game has some pretty good depth. I have nothing more to say here. If you’re looking for a unique board gaming experience on Switch, this will satisfy your needs.

Full of Trash($13.00)

The Japanese title of this article is “poop curry”. I feel like we’ve reached the pinnacle of the game, friends. Anyway, this is a card game for up to four players. The goal is to eat curry without eating any poop. Eat three pieces of curry and you win , eat poop and you lose. There’s some bluffing involved, so part of the fun comes from tricking other players. This is actually a real physical card game in Japan, and it’s pretty well-received. Multiplayer is local only, So please keep this in mind.

Virus Shock ($7.99)

A fairly simple barrage hell bossrush game. You’re fighting a virus in a small arena. There were fifteen of them, and they all looked quite strange. You are also a virus and you can customize your abilities to suit your play style. It doesn’t look like a very fancy meal to me, but who knows? You might have some fun with it.

I’m hoping I can have a normal change next week, but I guess I’ll just have to see what I’m dealt. Hope you all have a great weekend, and as always, thank you for reading!
