John Oliver goes after Boeing with brutal parody ad

Boeing’s culture is the latest thing to come under scrutiny last week tonightHost John Oliver delves into the company’s troubled history in the clip above – from the company’s shift to a profit-driven model following its merger with McDonnell Douglas, to the 2019 grounding of Boeing’s 737 Max planes and fatal crashes caused by fatal manual labor Crash caused by smart software.

“It’s clear something has to change at Boeing, and it has to be held accountable at the top of the company,” Oliver said at the end of the video after outlining ongoing problems with the Boeing Max aircraft. “Because if you’re really too big to fail, that means you’re big enough to spend the time and resources to repair the culture you’ve damaged. In the meantime, the least you can do is spread the word about the culture that works with you way is more accurate.”

Cue the parody ad starring Rose Byrne, David Costabile, Adam Paley and Roy Wood Jr.
