Ys X: Nordics will be released in fall 2024

NIS America has just announced that the latest entry in the exciting Ys action role-playing game series will be released on Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC platforms in the West this fall. I’m very surprised by this because I thought that on the usual timeline it would arrive in 2025. I even bought the Japanese version on Switch last year to play. Regardless, it’s good news for everyone, we’re getting a brand new Ys game in the fall of 2024. I hope NIS America releases details on the limited edition, because I’ll be keeping an eye on that. ——Mikhail Madanani

Nintendo shows off Splatoon 3 side-scrolling DLC

second wave Splatoon 3 DLC, Side order, is all around us. In fact, with the February 22 release date less than a week away, Nintendo has provided a video with some of what you can expect. In this single-player campaign, you play Agent 8, who wakes up to find Inkopolis has been drained of color! The Tower of Order awaits you, filled with enemies waiting to be defeated. Your only companion is a drone claiming to be Pearl? Um. Mysteries abound. If you want to tackle these issues, you’ll need to grab the expansion pass and get ready for next week’s release.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, starring Lara Croft ($29.99)

The first three Tomb Raider games are coming to Nintendo Switch in this remastered style from Aspyr. You can play the game in a similar style to the original, or if you can’t go back in time, enjoy new beautiful graphics and modernized controls. There are the odd bug here and there, and the modern graphics are sometimes too dark, but other than that, it’s a great way to play these classic games. You can also enjoy delicious food on Switch. Check out our review from yesterday.

Arzette: Farrarmore’s Gem ($19.99)

What a strange thing.Personally, I’ve never played Zelda Games on Philips CD-i. In fact, I’ve never listened to CD-i at all. But, like many of you, I suspect I’ve seen a lot of silly animated cutscenes over the years. Arzette: Farrarmore’s Gem is a homage to those games, and the cutscenes really evoke the style correctly. However, I think something is wrong here, because the game is actually a pretty fun side-scrolling adventure.Isn’t that what it should be? bad? All kidding aside, this game is even better than I expected it to be. Looking forward to my review soon.

Exile King ($19.99)

There’s another cool game coming out today. It’s a classic-style linear action game that’s pretty good. You’re on a quest for revenge and need to fight your way through eight stages. Each one ends with a boss battle, and once you topple them you’ll gain a new skill and advance to the next stage. There are two different characters available, each with their own unique play style. I’ll be reviewing this game soon as well, but I can say that if you like the look of it, you’ll probably enjoy this game.

Yuan meets cute!!!+ ($17.99)

If you’re going to go down a well-worn path, then I guess there’s no harm in trying to mix things up. It’s a romance visual novel, but very meta. A lot of the fourth wall is broken. Can you be romantic at your desk? perhaps. There are 3 main routes and apparently about 20 sub-routes, and I’m sure there’s a lot of silliness in them. Perfect for those who are tired of this kind of thing and looking for something new and novel, but not so tired of it that they abandon the genre entirely.

Trash can group

My Name is Mayo 3 ($1.99)

Nothing too crazy in my inbox today, I guess. Some good games, but we often see games on sale. It’s never a bad time to add donut dodo However, to your collection. In the outbox, final fantasy pixel remake The sale is about to end, and so is Onion Games’ latest sale. In fact, I’d say the outbox is where the main activity is today. Anyway, take a look at both lists.
