2TB is the best choice for Phison E26 controller
TweakTown tested the 4TB Sabrent Rocket 5, but it was the 2TB model that really impressed them. After testing other Phison E26-based SSDs, they expected this model to outperform the 4TB model, and they were proven right. CrystalDiskMark’s sequential read speeds of 14,160MB/s and write speeds of 12,769 MB/s are enough to put it at the top of the chart. Random reads and writes were slightly lower, with the Sabrent coming in second behind the Crucial T705. The performance will vary slightly depending on whether you’re running AMD or Intel, but not drastically, and it will always be slower on AMD.
If you need blazingly fast storage, the 2TB Rocket 5 broke multiple lab records and became the fastest SSD they’ve ever tested. The only downside is the price, $400 for 2TB is steep, but that’s what you pay for the best product. Find all benchmarks and details here.
