Babies born in the 1980s, rejoice. Not only are New Kids on the Block back on tour this year, but the boy band icons are also releasing new material for the first time in over a decade.
The Dorchester, Massachusetts-based quintet announce their eighth studio album, Still a child, set to be released on May 17.This is the band’s first new album since its release in 2013 10.

The band also dropped the album’s lead single, “Kids.” The upbeat pop song reminds fans that even though the NKOTB boys are now in their 50s, they’re still young at heart.
“We’re still just kids from a no-man’s town/Still just kids messing around/Making the most of what we find, wow,” the singer sings in the chorus.
“Kids” is just one of 14 tracks on the album. According to a press release, the album will be a mix of “pop songs, dance music, love songs and rhythms.”
Die-hard fools can look forward to some extra nostalgia. Still a child It will feature two collaborations: “Get Down” with DJ Jazzy Jeff and “Old School Love” with singer-songwriter Taylor Dayne.

Founding member Donnie Wahlberg, who co-wrote seven of the album’s songs, said Still a child “The most mature album we’ve ever made.”
Don’t worry about that, though: “However, it’s the funniest, most comfortable album we’ve ever made,” adds Wahlberg.
New Kids on Tour About to Go
Looks like 2024 is a good year to be a fool. The “Hangin’ Tough” team will kick off their Magic Summer 2024 tour in June.
The two-time American Music Award winners hope to replicate the spirit of their legendary 1990 Magic Summer tour. That tour grossed $74 million, making the Boys the highest-grossing touring act in the country at the time.
NKOTB was a huge success until 1994, when panic and anxiety forced Jonathan Knight to leave the band. The remaining four decided to break up and reunite 14 years later.
