The much-anticipated Nothing Phone 2A made a splashy debut at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, showing off its full design to attendees – but despite that, Nothing, the tech company behind the phone, decided Keeping most of its specifications secret until A dedicated reveal event scheduled for March 5.
The Nothing Phone 2A’s reveal at the conference included an unboxing video posted on Nothing’s YouTube channel, giving enthusiasts a peek at the device’s design. The video highlights notable changes compared to its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 2. The changes include repositioning the two rear cameras to the center and a plastic design that makes the sides of the phone partially transparent.
While the unboxing video doesn’t show the phone in action, a social media post shared by Nothing shows off the iconic Glyphs (the brand’s signature lighting feature) lighting up the top half around the camera and the unique lower half. The swirl design incorporates the second.

The Nothing Phone 2A was unveiled at MWC mainly to preview the full details that will be announced on March 5th.
Contents of previous trailers for “No Disclosure” Moving to MediaTek processors 2A (different from the Qualcomm processor used in previous Nothing phone models).

If the device launches as a budget-friendly flagship, it would join other competitors such as the $500 OnePlus 12R, the $600 Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, and the $499 Google Pixel 7A.
