OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new mid-range phone this month, according to a reliable leaker. The company is developing an Ace 3V smartphone that will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, making it the first smartphone to feature the chipset.
The smartphone will come with a 1.5K screen, which is the Chinese company’s brand name for the panel resolution between 1080p and 1440p. However, this isn’t an upgrade from the OnePlus Ace 2V, which had a screen resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels.
The tipster added on the Weibo page that the OnePlus Ace 3V will also be equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery and support 100W SuperVOOC wired charging. This is identical to the OnePlus Ace 3, which was later relaunched internationally as the OnePlus 12R.
The post also states that the OnePlus 13 will be available earlier than expected as the company looks to be one of the first manufacturers to launch a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered flagship. The chipset will be launched at this year’s Snapdragon Summit, scheduled to take place in October.
