Early Monday morning, March 4, Apple announced an update to its MacBook Air lineup, adding an M3 processor to its most popular laptop. What Apple didn’t announce is that it’s also releasing several new colors for some of its most popular accessories.

Those accessories? Silicone protective case for iPhone and most Apple Watch band models. Notably missing from the list of bands with new colors or designs is any Apple Watch Ultra band, which is undoubtedly a pity for Apple Watch Ultra users.

When it comes to new silicone case colors, Apple frequently updates its case lineup with new colors to suit different times of the year. As such, the new colors are very spring-like and include pastel mints, sunshine, light blues and pinks. They are like this:

You can order the new colors from Apple now, with shipping starting as early as Wednesday, March 6.

Apple isn’t releasing any new colors for its controversial FineWoven phone cases, and people either love them or hate them.

In addition to new iPhone case colors, Apple also released new Apple Watch bands that match the iPhone case colors. The new colors are available on Braided Solo Loop, Sport Band and Sport Loop bands. Here’s what some of them look like:

Apple has started taking orders for the new band colors, with shipments or in-store pickup starting Wednesday, March 6.

Finally, Apple also released new Hermès straps in similar colors and designs, with prices starting at $350 for these high-end straps. They do look nice, but geez, the price. Here’s another glimpse:

Hermès Apple Watch bands slightly delayed

New Hermès watch bands aren’t as readily available as iPhone cases and cheaper watch bands. For example, the Hermès Bleu Céleste/Écru Toile H Single Tour, if ordered now, won’t ship until the last week of April or early May.

In addition to new MacBook Air models and new colors for iPhone cases and bands, we’re still expecting Apple to release new iPad Pro models, new iPad Air models, and new iPad accessories like the new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil .

Waiting for new iPhone colors

Another spring announcement that Apple traditionally makes is the launch of new colors for its latest iPhone models. For example, last year there was a yellow iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.

There haven’t been any leaks or rumors about new iPhone 15 colors yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a new color announced sometime this month. Last year, Apple launched the yellow iPhone in the second week of March.
