The Huawei P70 was expected to launch in China this month, but now some new rumors coming out of the country claim the launch has been delayed. The P70 series should now be officially released next month, which may actually be late April.
Initially, when this rumor broke, there was a lot of speculation in China, citing supply chain issues – not surprising considering Huawei has been operating for years under the severe restrictions the U.S. government has imposed on it. .

However, a tipster on Weibo flatly denied that the delay was related to the supply chain. Instead, it’s a complex mix, with many other products released besides the P70. The company will still hold a launch event this month, but the content will be different. It looks like Huawei is going to be very busy in the coming weeks.
The P70 is rumored to feature a 50 MP variable aperture main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom, a “1.5K” 6.7-inch OLED screen, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It will be powered by Kirin 9010 SoC.
