Earlier today, Realme 12 was officially launched in India, powered by Dimensity 6100+ SoC, with a starting price of INR 16,999. Soon after, Poco India country head Himanshu Tandon accused the Realme 12 of using the chipset at this price, pointing out that Poco put the Dimensity 6100+ in the M6, which is priced under INR 10,000.
So he thinks everyone should wait for the Poco X6 Neo, as you can see from the X post embedded below. The Poco X6 Neo was leaked earlier this week and rumors suggest it will be officially launched next week.
After seeing today’s announcement, everyone should really be waiting for the “Neo” upgrade.
Red flag: Dimensity 6100+, 17k LCD? 😮😕
For reference only, we use Dimensity 6100+ #POCOM65G The price is under 10k. #POCOX6No

It looks like a rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro, which has a 108 MP main camera like the Realme 12, but uses a Dimensity 6080 SoC – this gives an extra 200 MHz to the two “big” CPU cores, and that’s about it.
According to the leak mentioned above, the Poco X6 Neo will be priced starting under INR 16,000 – so INR 15,999? All this fuss is about dropping the price by INR 1,000 and adding an extra 200 MHz of frequency on both CPU cores? We did wish there was more, but that doesn’t look like it.
Regardless, the X6 Neo should also feature a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz OLED touchscreen with 1,000 nits of peak brightness, a 2 MP depth sensor, a 16 MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging .
