Google has released two new exclusive wallpapers for Pixel fans, and they’re all about mint-fresh beaches.
Capturing aerial images of Maldives islands and cenotes in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, these gorgeous new wallpapers pay homage to Mint Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. As Google points out, cenotes are natural sinkholes created by the collapse of limestone bedrock, exposing the groundwater below.
The photographer for the new wallpapers is Selim Cinek, a senior software engineer with more than 10 years of experience on the Android SystemUI team. His team is also working on a new AI wallpaper feature for the Pixel 8 series.
Google reportedly emailed members of the UK Pixel Superfan program with information about two new Pixel Superfan wallpapers. They are available for download now and you can get them by clicking the button below.
You’ll have to act fast, because Google removes old wallpapers as it adds new ones to the Super Fans program.
