Electronic Arts has added nine classic games to Steam, including Dungeon Keeper GoldSimCity 3000and a World War II-era open-world action game saboteur, The game was previously removed from Valve’s digital PC store, but is now back on sale.
These days I feel like I’m spending more time writing and reading about games delisting, Delete, cancel, or stuck on the old platform.Just earlier today, March 8th, I was reading a developer’s post on how to Warner Bros. Discovery plans to remove about a dozen games from Steam There was little warning. So I’ll take any good news I can get, like EA bringing some classic PC games to Steam to make them easier to play on devices like the Steam Deck.
March 7Later, EA announced that nine classic PC games have been released on Steam. The publisher even created a little fancy trailer to announce the news. How nice.
Here’s the full list of games EA just added to Steam:

- SimCity 3000 Unlimited

- Population II: Trials of the Olympian Gods
- Population: Start
- Dungeon Keeper Gold
- Dungeon Keeper 2
- Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri Planet Pack

A nice bonus: Currently, to celebrate the arrival of these games on Steam, EA has sold them all.
Now to be clear, most of these games are already available on GOG. So EA isn’t bringing these games out of the void and making them playable again. But it’s nice to see EA supporting Steam more, and it’s always nice to have the option to buy classic games in more places.
add, saboteur After being removed from the platform in 2015, it’s now back on Steam.Oddly enough, this open-world action game developed by Pandemic – the last game for OG star wars battlefront Previously made by the developer Closed by EA— has never been removed from EA’s PC digital storefront or GOG. It was only Steam that lost in 2015. But now, almost a decade later, this wonderful game with smooth black and white visuals is back. If you could get it to work on Valve’s Steam Deck, seems to be running fine.
