Larimer County is asking unincorporated county residents to participate in a cable and internet survey to improve service.
“Strong feedback from residents will allow Larimer County to ensure the delivery of high-quality television and improved broadband and internet service,” a news release from the county said.
The release also stated that “the findings are critical to Larimer County’s cable franchise renewal process with Comcast-Xfinity Cable Communications and TDS Broadband Services.” and will help the county determine whether the companies “are Addressing community needs and service preferences in upcoming franchise contract negotiations.”

The county encourages residents to participate in the survey even if they do not subscribe to a company.
Residents can participate online through the Larimer County website: https://www.larimer.gov/2024-unincorporated-cable-survey or call 970-498-7015 to request a mailed survey in a postage-paid, return envelope.
The investigation will continue until April 7.
