Before exploring the world of Fevrith and waging war as far as the eye can see, the first thing you should do is upgrade your units. Unicorn Overlord Players start with only two units, and each unit is limited to two characters. Once you land in Konya, you’ll receive side quests that prompt you to unlock more units and expand the units you have. Do this quickly. Having more units and roles for each unit is crucial to building a strong strategy in battle. When the game starts throwing massive battles at you, with enemies coming at you from every direction, having two units isn’t going to cut it. You can earn more honors and upgrade your units through deliveries and side missions.

Protect your command post at all times

in every battle Unicorn Overlord In the event of a failure, your command post is usually captured by the enemy. Since every battle begins with a command post deployment, you might think this would be hard to forget. You would be wrong. When the battle gets intense, it’s very possible for your troops to penetrate deep into enemy territory and completely forget about your undefended command post. Suddenly, just as you’re about to defeat the boss, a nondescript infantry unit captures your undefended command post, and the game is over. When you have Valor Points, deploy and garrison a unit at your command post so it can never be attacked.

Turn on auto-pause in settings

The battle won’t wait for you Unicorn Overlord. They take place in real time, and enemies will jump at you as soon as the battle begins. To give yourself time to assess the situation, you need to stop. To make this easier, you can go into the options menu and turn on the “Auto-pause on stage start” switch. This way you don’t have to remember to pause, the game does it for you and you can plan without giving the enemy a head start.

Companion side quests are essential

s story Unicorn Overlord Nothing special, but you’ll need to do companion side quests in this world anyway. By accepting these quests (initiated by talking to special NPCs in the overworld), you will eventually unlock new characters and unit types. Collecting all the characters allows you to add the most diverse warriors to your army when needed.

Unit organization is more important than level

Each character has a level, and each battle has a recommended level. This can mostly be ignored. Unit organization and character type have a greater impact on combat outcomes than level. This isn’t a game where you brute force your way through levels, you need to take some time to think. The benefit of this is that it allows you to participate in lower level battles, as wise planning will always trump strength.

Leave a bite

An early battle you’ll encounter is the Battle of Barbatimo. When you win the battle, you will have the option to spare or execute Morden. You want to spare him. Morden unlocks the ability to build bridges around the world, allowing you to explore more places and collect resources. While another character with this skill will automatically join your party later, it’s nice to have Morden early on. As an additional tip, there is no good reason not to forgive someone when given the chance. Sparing your enemies means they will join your army, and you always need more warriors.

fly to the sky

Flying characters can be incredibly overpowered Unicorn Overlord. This is not because of their strength, but because of their mobility. Making a flying character like the Gryphon Knight a unit leader will allow that unit to fly across the battlefield. This means you can completely bypass difficult terrain like mountains or completely fly over enemies. A well-organized force led by a flying character can usually end a battle in seconds.

Frequently used items

With so many systems, it’s easy to forget you have a ton of stuff at your disposal. While this includes standard healing items, you should also be aware of and use as many other consumables as possible. Smoked Nuts are a great way to replenish stamina when engaging in heavy skirmishes, Magic Mines can easily destroy units, Light Feathers will make units move faster, and more. Each item has a purpose and is crucial to winning battles, and being able to use as many items as possible without draining resources like courage points makes them very trustworthy.

Battle predictions don’t always help you

As you direct your troops to attack an enemy, you’ll see a quick prediction of the outcome of the encounter. While it is accurate, it may change rapidly. You might be commanding an army across a battlefield and be told you’ll defeat the enemy with ease, only to arrive at said conflict only to find that’s no longer the case. This incident is caused by many reasons. The enemy may have used a Valor skill or item, or they may now be supported by a unit of Archers. Combat predictions are accurate, but you’ll need to check them frequently to account for real-time scene changes.

Stationed guards are a quick way to build rapport

There is a harmonious system inside Unicorn Overlord Let characters build relationships and unlock better combat abilities. This system ends up being key to the main mission without much warning. If you need to build rapport quickly, a simple trick is to station the character you want to build rapport with in a town and give them a bunch of gifts in a row. The caveat to this strategy though is that it only works to build rapport between Alan and the character.

Don’t over-deliver to town

The map of the world of Feverris is dotted with towns. All of them will need some kind of assistance from Alan to rebuild. This is done by gathering resources and delivering them. Each town has a star rating of one to three stars, and completing deliveries can help you earn stars. Once you’ve filled all the stars in your town, the game will constantly offer you new deliveries. Do not do this! Towns do not unlock new things after filling up the stars. You’re just wasting resources that could be used to completely rebuild other towns on the map, and there are a lot of them.

save, save, save

Save often. I know this sounds like a no-brainer.But seriously, you should always save money Unicorn Overlord. Especially when fighting.Yes you can save in between Unicorn OverlordIt was a broad and long battle. This is a great way to give yourself a lifeline if you make a mistake. Instead of starting over and losing half an hour of progress, you can go back for a minute or two and reassess your strategy. If you don’t like saving scum for some reason, then you can fall gloriously on your sword. But seriously, save your game.
