Salt Services is currently facing an outage in Switzerland, according to user reports
After a brief introduction power failure, Salt industry services have returned to normal. Salt industry services in Switzerland were reportedly affected by power outages. User data provided by Downlink Tractor Online showed Salt’s internet service, accessed via landlines and mobile phones, faced connectivity issues but no signal errors. According to real-time tracking from DownDetector, user reports spiked around 10:00 pm local time.
Data provided by an online outage tracking service shows that nearly 2,000 users complained about problems with the Internet service provided by Salt. Across all reports, about 79% of users reported problems with landline internet, 16% reported no signal errors on their devices, and about 5% were unable to access the internet from their mobile devices.
DownDetector’s report adds that most of the complaints from salt users come from Swiss towns such as Zurich, Bern, Lausanne, Alwangen, Friborg, Geneva, Didikon, Aalborg and Cernier. Users reported outages lasting nearly half an hour, the report said.
The cause of the outage was unclear at the time of this report. The company made no official statement on the reports affecting its Swiss service on Sunday afternoon.
