Star Wars: Dark Forces Remastered ($29.99)
Nightdive sure knows what it’s doing. Its reissues of classics are really well done, so much so that sometimes it feels like there’s little need to review them.Yes, this remake Star Wars: Dark Forces very good. It has some technical issues that may bother players who are sensitive to the occasional stutter, but for the most part, it looks and runs just like the game looks in your memory, if not in reality. But if you want it to look like reality, you can flip some options and do it your way, baby.
The fact that there are a variety of options to make the game even more exciting that you can engage or turn off as needed makes some of the expected content that’s missing stand out even more. Like, you can’t save in the middle of a level. This is accurate to the original, but it’s one thing I really wanted to see here. I play on a handheld a lot, and I don’t always have the time to complete some of the larger later levels in one go. Sure, I could put my system to sleep, but I’d have to complete the entire level before I could do anything else. Help someone, Nightdive.
Having said that, Star Wars: Dark Forces Still a lot of fun, and this remake is definitely the way to play it.it is located in the area between doom As well as full 3D first person shooters such as Thor’s Hammer, that’s a really good place. The action is smooth, the license fits like a glove, and the levels are cleverly designed and easy to navigate.Here’s a real attempt to solve some interesting puzzles, similar to those of the same era Duke Nukem 3D. This is good stuff. If you haven’t played it before, you should give it a try.
While there are some minor technical issues here that are unusual for a Nightdive release, that doesn’t stop you from delving into this excellent remaster. Star Wars: Dark Forces. Even this year, the game’s old-school charm has been boosted enough to make it a blast, even if some aspects like the save system may be a little too old-school.Overall, another great effort from Nightdive, and a solid one at that Star Wars Released on Switch.

Top Racer Series ($19.99)
Full Disclosure: First top racing driver (Top grade) game was a very important game for me and my friends when we were young. Like, some weekends we stayed up all night playing them. I have a lot of nostalgia for these games, and it’s harder than usual for me to put it aside. As long as QUByte isn’t completely screwed up, I’ll love it. QUByte definitely didn’t mess this up.if you have good memories top racing driver games on the Super NES, you’re sure to be very pleased with this collection. It has everything except the original western brand name and some original menu. All this and more, really.
Three Super NES top racing driver The games are included here and they are running normally. QUByte modifies them a bit and uses its own menu system in places, but does so to allow for features like online play and extra modes that the original game doesn’t offer. If you just want to jump in and play them like before, you can do that.There is a fourth game here called Top racer crossroadsbut it pretty much just cracked some cars horizon chase Entering the first game. Cool, but not really a unique game.
There isn’t a ton of extra material here, and you can tell QUByte is bogged down by not being able to say or show anything Top grade. You do get scans of the Japanese manuals for all three games, as well as some scans of the packaging. There are online leaderboards, so you can also compete with others around the world on every course in the game, but don’t expect them to be too large. Similarly, online mode is great if you can set up with other players beforehand, but don’t expect to encounter any random players. It’s already a ghost town, which isn’t a good sign considering launch period is supposed to be the busiest. I’m not sure what’s going on with the menu music either.You have everything so great top racing driver What kind of music can you use and then you choose some generic ass rock? Oh, okay. At least the music in the game still dominates.
If you miss these games as much as I do, you will be very happy with these games Top racing driver series.fans horizon chase Those who want to know where much of its inspiration came from may want to check it out as well. They were very much of their time, but they were also among the best of their time. It’s nice to have them all in one place and in good condition.

EGGCONSOLE Hydlide3 PC-8801mkIISR ($6.49)
This one came a little later than some of mine Egg control Reviews tend to be like that, and that’s because that’s how long I spent thinking about this weird game.original Hydride It has a place in history as an early and influential example of the action RPG genre. Hydride 2 Seems to be Bruno from the series and is Bruno from the series Hydride The series is saying something. Then came the third game, first released in 1987. The world of action RPGs has changed a lot in the years between the first game and this one, and I’ll admit it at least tried to keep up. In addition to the morality system added in the second game, the game also has a day and night cycle, a hunger system, and obstruction rules. Like the first game, the third game managed to get a localized console version of the time: the SEGA Genesis super hydride.

If you choose to put in the work yourself, you’ll find that the game has some interesting ideas that don’t quite come together.

Contra: Operation Galuga ($39.99)
Contra… Life is hard. Back in the 8-bit and 16-bit eras, it was the last word in run-and-gun action games. The 32-bit era has not been kind to it, and it has not been kind to the 32-bit era. Some decent titles on the PlayStation 2 suggest the series might still have some life left in it. There’s a great entry on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but for some reason it’s not used Contra Name. WayForward is a real highlight Contra 4 On the Nintendo DS, this is one of the best classic revivals of the era.Well, WayForward is back and trying something new again and it’s definitely better than Contra: Legion of Thieves. must. We’ll have a review ready for you soon, but at this point I’d say the game is good, but this particular port may not be.
Passing by – Downwind Journey ($9.99)
Bring some relaxation today if that’s what you’re looking for. You pilot a balloon ship to various islands, meet characters, collect resources, do some platform jumping, and solve various puzzles. where are you going? When will you get there? Do they have cinnamon buns there? Are they fresh or frozen and do they taste a little dry when heated? The answers to some of these questions await you in this game. But not all. Sorry, Sean is being silly again. There might be some truth to this, but I can’t get into it.
Empty shell ($15.99)
A top-down roguelite shooter that leans heavily into survival horror elements. You are a soldier exploring a mysterious facility on a Japanese island. Death comes quickly and relentlessly, and every time one of your characters is killed, another character with a random set of gear is sent to start over. Of course, the facility itself is procedurally generated, so there’s a large degree of luck involved. Fair warning, it’s full of jump scares. If all of this sounds good, you might want to check out this game. It is popular on other platforms.
