LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT/KARK) – Arkansans without internet access may soon be able to apply for grants from more than $1 billion in program funds.
On Monday, March 11, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration announced that the state would soon begin a survey of homes and businesses without internet access, content partner KARK reported.
Officials said the grants will be available to internet service providers, cooperatives and others involved in building or upgrading internet networks.
