It has been a few months since Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series. Now, a new report tells us how the latest flagship is selling and how it compares to last year’s model.
A report comes from Korea ZDNetAccording to data from Counterpoint Research, the Galaxy S24 series saw strong sales from January 28 to February 17. Specifically, Samsung announced that pre-orders would be open in the United States on January 17 and that the phones would go on sale on January 31.
The report shows that global sales increased by 8% compared with S23 during the same period. In terms of individual markets, the series achieved double-digit sales growth in multiple regions.
According to reports, in the domestic market, Galaxy S24 sales surged 22%. Meanwhile, Europe grew by 28% and the United States by 14%.
Of the three products in the range, the most popular model seems to be the Ultra. Ultra is said to account for more than half of the orders, accounting for 52%. However, Plus’ order volume increased compared to last year, rising from 15% to 21%.
The data only reflects sales numbers, so it’s difficult to discern what’s driving sales growth. Samsung’s bet on artificial intelligence may have paid off.
