For many people, customer support is a key factor when buying a phone. After all, who cares about crazy camera zoom or top-notch gaming performance when repairing a faulty or damaged phone is a daunting task?

It’s worth noting that all phones sold in Europe typically come with a two-year warranty. But the length of the warranty period is only one consideration for after-sales support. Other factors include the responsiveness of the customer support channel, the types of issues covered, the availability of a short-term no-questions-asked return policy, and the speed of the entire warranty process.
When it comes to customer support, Apple and Samsung are generally considered to be at the top. For one, both companies have huge geographic footprints. Additionally, both brands offer premium insurance-like warranties that cover accidental damage and discounted/free repairs.
