Xiaomi launched Mix Fold 3 in August last year and is now developing Mix Fold 4, which may also be released in the summer. Today, prolific Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station shared the Mix Fold 4 specs list. This isn’t a complete specs list, but it does give us a lot of details about the upcoming foldable smartphone, so let’s dive right in.
Compared with its predecessor, Mix Fold 4 has a smaller folding screen crease, supports two-way satellite communication, may have an IP waterproof rating, a customized x-axis linear vibration motor, and weighs between 220 and 240 grams. The hinges have been reinforced and should be more durable.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 to be launched in 2023
The device will come with 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, at least a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging, a 50MP large-aperture main rear camera, and a new periscope lens. Of course, there will be an ultra-wide-angle lens and possibly a second telephoto lens, just like the Mix Fold 3.
Of course, it’s expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and these specs do make it look like a very worthy successor to the Mix Fold 3.
