Pi Day Deals
The Solo Stove Pi (8/10, recommended by Wired) is our favorite pizza oven. The set includes three accessories—a pizza peel, a cutter, and a thermometer—but thanks to a coupon code, the price ends up being the same as the oven. The compact design features a large cooking surface and a nice flat top for extra cooking space (and storage). We think it works best with a good cast iron pan, especially since the handles extend to minimize the risk of burns. This oven is expensive, so this sale is a great opportunity to buy one. You can also choose a wood-burning model without a gas attachment, which is more affordable.
Solo Stove Yukon (7/10, Wired review) is great, but at 27 inches it’s not portable. It’s gorgeous, made of stainless steel, and burns hot and ignites easily. Of course, you can build a fire pit for less money, but if you want to invest in your backyard, this is a great way to do it.
This is one of the best deals we’ve tracked for Bonfire. It is similar to the Yukon, but has a much smaller diameter, making it easier to carry to the beach or (safely) into the woods. It’s durable, and the fire burns hot without sending out thick smoke around your camping chairs.
