A couple announcing their pregnancy in a photo shoot inside a HEB grocery store may be the most iconic thing to ever happen in Texas.
Pop of Color Images shared a photo of the couple and their HEB-themed announcement on Facebook on Monday, March 11.
“Please buy groceries for three people,” the San Antonio photographer said in the post.
KENS reports that the father-to-be, Jacob Alvarado, has worked at the HEB warehouse for 11 years. He and his partner Zoey Medley are expecting their first child.
The couple holds a “HE-BABY” onesie in some of the photos, which were taken in the baby aisle of a grocery store. Their shopping carts were filled with essentials, including diapers, extra onesies and dill pickles – to satisfy their cravings, of course.
Some of the photos also included a jar of Prego pasta sauce, an item the photographer said was important for pregnancy photos.
“When Zoey found out she was pregnant, she came up with the idea of doing a pregnancy announcement on HEB,” the photographer told KENS. “She wanted to include HEB products and Prego jars in the shoot. We couldn’t forget the Prego jars!”
In the comments of the post, HEB congratulated the couple and praised Prego-chan’s photo.
The photographer’s post has received hundreds of shares and comments.
“These photos are so cute!!! Love this idea!!” one person commented.
Another commenter said: “Absolutely the cutest photo ever.”
According to the photos, baby Alvarado is due in October.
HEB is a Texas staple with more than 420 stores in Texas and Mexico.
