Disney+ announced today doctor who Season 14, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as his companion Ruby Sunday, will premiere on May 5 Two episodes will premiere on March 10 in the United States and internationally except the United Kingdom. UK viewers will watch new episodes on BBC iPlayer from 12am (GMT) on 11 May, followed by broadcast on BBC One later in the day. In a press release about the new season, Davies teased that the Doctor and Ruby’s adventures will involve “a terrible secret that spans decades across time and space.”
News of the premiere date comes months after it was revealed that Gibson would be replaced as the Doctor’s companion by actress Varada Sethu after one season on the show, for reasons that remain unclear .
