Kelly, a mother of two, moved to Somerville, Oklahoma, with her children, Trevor and Phoebe, after being evicted from her apartment in the big city. There, she inherits a mysterious farm left to her by an even more mysterious father. Soon, we learn that her father is former Ghostbuster Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), who recently passed away.
Egon left Carly and her mother (who was never named) when she was very young, and while Carly always resented him for it, she knew he had good reason for doing so. He moved to Somerville to protect the world from Gozer, the ghost he had previously discovered in Ghostbusters.
Carly ended up being part of Gozer’s plan to return, only to be saved by her children and the original Ghostbusters.We don’t know what will happen next, but frozen empire indicating that they have moved to New York.
