The Steam Spring 2024 Sale started last night, and while it’s not as significant as the Steam Winter Sale, you might as well take advantage of it to save money on some games you plan to buy. I’d obviously recommend checking your own Steam Wishlist to see what discounts you’re interested in, but I’ve put together a list of my picks for the 10 best Steam Deck Spring Sale game discounts of 2024, spanning multiple genres, both old and new game. You may notice some of the games I’ve recommended in my Steam Deck deals list before, but they’re either now available at lower prices or are just so awesome that they deserve to be highlighted again. This list is in no particular order.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (from $55.99, $69.99)
what is that? Is my current 2024 game already 20% off? It’s better value than full price, but you’re here for the deal, so take advantage of this sale and get one of the best Sega games of all time for less. “Yakuza: Infinite Wealth” is the pinnacle work of “Dragon Painting” studio. Its refreshing new setting not only provides a great experience for players who entered the series a few years ago, but its story beats reward those who have been involved from the beginning. This is one of the best turn-based RPGs out there, and it has more great mini-games than most games with great music.
New Blood FPS Trilogy Bundle (from $34.85, $64.97)
Okay, this one is cheating because it’s a three-game bundle, but I forced Sean to grab it and I’d ask you to consider doing the same. The discounted bundles for Amid Evil, DUSK, and Ultrakill (early access, but awesome) are hard to pass up. They all have great gameplay, great music, and feel great on the Steam Deck. Ultrakill is a bit difficult to play on a controller, but I quickly got used to it. Still, Among the Evil and Dusk feel perfect. If you do grab this one, consider the Dark Labyrinth of Evil expansion as well. This is worth it.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (from $34.99, $69.99)
While everyone is playing Final Fantasy VII Reborn on PS5 (it’s not out on PC yet), it’s time to try out the first installment in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy project on the Steam Deck. The perfect time to remaster Intergrade. It looks great on the HDR-capable Steam Deck OLED and is fun to play handheld. If you love the world and characters of Final Fantasy VII, this is a must-have. If you haven’t played Final Fantasy VII yet, please play it before buying the game.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne Master Edition (from $19.78, $59.98)
With Monster Hunter Wilds set to release next year, now is the perfect time to return to the world (along with Iceborne), the best Monster Hunter game right up there with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The discount includes the base game and the most advanced expansion packs, and the game recently enjoyed an online revival on PC. If you’re new to the genre, there’s no better way to do it, and the discounted price makes it an even better deal than before. If you want to try another game in the series, Monster Hunter Sunbreak is also on sale, but I recommend Iceborne first.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition (from $51.04, from $89.98)
Cyberpunk 2077 was in a rough state when it launched on almost all platforms, but has since received quite a few fixes and enhancements. It’s incredible to see a game like this running on the Steam Deck OLED and looking as good as HDR, and it’s one of the next generation feeling experiences on a handheld device. The narrative, music, and missions of the “Phantom Liberty” expansion pack are the icing on the cake. If you’ve put off the game or own it on console, cross-save and this discount will allow you to spend time and money on the Steam Deck.
Persona 5 Royal Edition (from $29.99, from $59.99)
Persona 5 Royal has always been an essential JRPG, but having a fantastic portable version that doesn’t compromise on performance or visuals really allows the game’s aesthetic to shine. It’s packed with premium content and includes all previous paid and free DLC right from the start. While the gameplay in Persona 3 Reloaded could be better, P5R is worth grabbing and experiencing. I played the base version of Persona 5 on PS4, then Persona 5 Royal on PS4, and then Persona 5 Royal on the Steam Deck and Switch. I love this game and I can’t recommend it enough.
Diver Dave (from $14.99, from $19.99)
Diver Dave is a great game that I enjoy playing on the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. Revisiting it on the Steam Deck OLED is even better. I’m blown away by the pace at which it maintains unlocks and new missions over its surprisingly long runtime, and I’m hoping that new content for the Switch version in partnership with Guilty Gear Strive will make its way to Steam as well. It plays perfectly on the Steam Deck OLED and is well worth your time and money.
Diablo IV (from $34.99, from $69.99)
I’ve written several times about how great Diablo IV is on the Steam Deck, and it’s still a joy to play on the Steam Deck OLED with support for things like HDR. The only caveat is that Diablo IV is an online game, so keep that in mind if you want to play on the go. I connected the Steam Deck OLED to my phone so I could play Diablo IV when needed, but it wasn’t an ideal experience. I’ve always thought this event was worth it, and this sale is cheaper than ever. Diablo IV also features full cross-play and cross-progression, so you can even think of it as a way to play the game on the go, where you can do what I did on PS5 and Xbox Series Game consoles at home play games on the TV.
Street Fighter 6 (from $39.59, from $59.99)
Our pick for 2023 Steam Deck Game of the Year, Street Fighter 6, is once again discounted in the 2024 Steam Spring Sale, and another Steam Deck feature means another reminder to try out the best fighting games available right now. If you’re not sure how it feels on the Steam Deck, you can watch a demo. Street Fighter 6 is Capcom’s best fighting game since Third Strike and has the best mix of online, offline and single-player content.
No Man’s Sky (from $29.99, from $59.99)
I haven’t forgotten about the iPad port, but No Man’s Sky on PC and consoles is still the gift that keeps giving. I’ve owned and played it on every platform, but the Steam Deck version has always felt the best. Recent updates have made it even better, and it looks stunning on the Steam Deck OLED. I’ve thought it was worth playing since day one, but the team over-delivers with every update, and if you haven’t gotten it on PC yet, you should grab it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 (from $53.99, from $59.99)
Look, 10% off is basically nothing when it comes to discounts, but I thought I’d use this section to highlight Baldur’s Gate 3 if you haven’t picked it up yet. While The Third Act isn’t perfect on the Steam Deck or even on PS5 and Xbox Series X, it’s a small price to pay for one of the most incredible games ever made. I’ve been continuing to play two different games recently, and having a full cross-save on PS5, Steam Deck, and Xbox Series X has been awesome. I can’t wait to finish these two new ones soon. I know 10% off isn’t much. But if you don’t already own the game, you can at least save something on your purchase.
