After the news came out OK and bad For a new continuation of the legend X-Men: The Animated SeriesMarvel has released a new clip from the show, which sees Cyclops leading the team against the evil Bolivar Trask and his legion of Sentinel robots ready to unleash hatred and terror on our heroes.
It’s short, sweet, and really funny – basically 90% of what you want X-Men: The Animated Series Succession is condensed into a tense 70 seconds. There’s a lot of action in there, especially for Rogue, who riffs on her little moment from the classic series opening by using a flying slingshot on some sentries (as well as returning the sender in the head). There is, of course, the theme of wailing in the background.There’s even a nice little Morph’s character beats, he looks determined and better than ever this time around as he prepares to fight the enemies that seemingly killed him in the original series’ premiere episode.You’ll even be mesmerized by George Buza’s “The Beast” long enough to momentarily forget that it’s a complete ass comic book war criminal over there!
X-Men ’97 It will begin streaming on Disney+ on March 20 with the premiere of two episodes.
