It’s been almost a year since the Huawei Band 8 was released, and the company has revealed that the Band 9 is coming soon, likely alongside the FreeLace Pro 2 headphones. The latest news is that both devices may be available in April.
Huawei Band 9
We’ve got a ton of high-resolution and official-looking images purported to be of the Huawei Band 9, apparently thanks to a careless retailer. The Band 9 is model number KIM-B19, codenamed “Kimi,” and looks almost identical to its predecessor. This has become the norm with Huawei Bands, as the Band 8 isn’t much different from its predecessor.
Huawei Band 9 still features a 1.47-inch AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 368×194 pixels and a built-in 180 mAh battery. You still get 5ATM water resistance, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. According to sources, the price of the Band 9 will also remain unchanged. 59 euros.

What has changed is the color selection. According to sources, the device itself is planned to come in five colors: black, blue, white, yellow, and pink. New straps will also be available, including a blue fabric strap that comes with the Band 9.
Huawei did promise to “open a new era of wrist fashion and enhanced sleep capabilities” in its Band 9 teaser, so maybe we can expect some new features as well.
