Assassin’s CreedUbisoft’s long-running open-world role-playing game series, and Vanderpump Rules, Bravo’s long-running reality TV series, is somewhat connected. Rarely have my two biggest and most divergent interests collided so spectacularly, but we’re here today, and it’s all thanks to a man named Jax Taylor.
Taylor, one of the former stars Virtual PR (He left/was fired after season 8, depending on who you ask) Been claiming for almost 15 years Assassin’s Creed I box art (or two, depending on who you ask and when) is based on his appearance. Taylor is a former model and even lists it as one of his (unconfirmed) credits in his old work. Model confusion page.
Before we go any further, it’s important to note that Taylor has historically been considered, well, a liar.with any Virtual PR Fans all know that as of 2019 vulture The article noted that Taylor had been accused of infidelity for two consecutive seasons and “twice [he] Leading people behind the show and his friends to believe he was falsely accused; both times, he was caught red-handed at the end of the season. ” Taylor was also trapped in a lie after being arrested in season six Cheated on his future wife (then girlfriend) with another co-star. Deep in the Bravo subreddits, you’ll find other alleged lies: He was Channing Tatum’s roommate, he almost got a job working for the NHL, he liked Lisa Vanderpump Lisa Vanderpump gave him a tea set as a wedding gift.
But the reality star stubbornly insists he is indeed the face on the magazine cover. Assassin’s Creed game. He reiterated this statement recently at the Lexington Comic Con in Kentucky over the weekend of March 7-10. Taylor with several of his former and current cast members (he’s starring in a new movie) Vanderpump Rules Derivatives are called valley and his future ex-wife, Brittany Cartwright, each had their own table at the convention, decorated with pictures of their professional personas. On Taylor’s desk: a photo of Assassin’s Creed I cover art.
Jax Taylor is Assassin’s Creed Box cover art?
Now, things get confusing. Taylor first claimed a connection to video games in 2012 when he posted “I’m on the cover of Assassin” [sic] Creed Two” on X (formerly Twitter). The image accompanying the text does look like the cover art for the Xbox 360 game, but there are some notable differences.First, the image describes Assassin’s Creed Ino two, and secondly, the image appears to have never been used for a physical release of Ubisoft’s game.one Intrepid reporters asked about this alleged cover art Back in 2022, responses only revealed more questions: The image Taylor posted appeared to be from a website called customization fanaticwhich would have shared high-resolution, downloadable, custom The box cover artwork is for people to print out and put into a plastic case.
I reached out to Taylor’s publicist via email on March 12, and he initially confirmed that Taylor was on “Season 1.” Assassin’s Creed. When asked for clarification, the representative confirmed that he was the model for “the first game” and “just the box art.” I appreciate their clarification.
An hour later, Taylor’s rep spontaneously sent me an image, which only made things more confusing: a cover photo. PlayStation: Official Magazine‘s 2009 holiday issue, which features the publication’s take on Assassin’s Creed II. Yes, sequel review, no Game 1 is as his representatives have initially confirmed. To add more layers to this chaos cake, game console Magazine cover does not depict any box art Assassin’s Creed Games, but customized art. (Unrelated, but hilarious: Image clearly visible only The cover ripped off the magazine and Taylor ostensibly threw away the remainder of the magazine. )
Shortly after I spoke with his publicist, Tyler posted a photo PlayStation: Official Magazine The cover was emailed to me on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Throwback to when I was making the cover art/box art for #assassinscreed 2009.” He tagged Lexington Comic Con and PlayStation’s Instagram accounts.
Here’s the thing, a French-Canadian model named Francisco Landes Widely regarded as the face of series protagonists Desmond, Altaïr and Ezio.Landers has done it interview about his role in the series and has a IMDb credit for it.in a 2011 interview, Assassin’s Creed Developers discussed creating a digital likeness of the character, referring to the “handsome model” as the Montreal game’s “neighbor”… though they struggled to remember his name and called him “Raphael.” (It was around 8:50.) Is there more than one “Assassin’s Creed Guy”? Is Jax Taylor one of them? Isn’t he one of them?
I contacted Ubisoft and Francisco Landes. Ubisoft declined to comment, and Landers has yet to respond.
Therefore, it’s unclear if Jax Taylor is indeed the cover character for both titles Assassin’s Creed I or Assassin’s Creed II.as a Virtual PR Fans, I’m inclined to believe he’s not, but what do you think?
