Honor held a massive event in China to launch the Porsche Design Magic6 RSR and Magic6 Ultimate smartphones. Apart from this, the brand also launched two new wearable devices named Honor Watch GS 4 and Honor Band 9.
Honor Watch GS 4
Let’s talk about the Honor Watch GS 4 first. This smartwatch features a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. It supports over 8,000 watch faces, and you can create your own by uploading images from the connected device’s photo album.
Honor Watch GS 4 is made of 316L stainless steel, and the Jasper Astrolabe version uses a gold-plated case. However, all models are 10.5mm thick and have two physical buttons on the right side.
Watch GS 4 comes with a host of common health and fitness features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and stress and blood oxygen level measurements. It can also measure your blood pressure levels and detect atrial fibrillation.

In addition, Watch GS 4 supports more than 100 indoor and outdoor sports modes, including 85 custom sports modes and more than 10 professional sports modes.
Honor Watch GS 4 is compatible with devices running Android 9 and above and iOS 11 and above. Honor did not disclose the battery capacity of this smartwatch, but it is said to last 14 days under typical usage scenarios, and a full day of battery life can be achieved with a 5-minute charge.
Other highlights of the Honor Watch GS 4 include 32MB RAM, 4GB storage, and 5ATM water resistance. It also has a speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calling (BT 5.0) and has NFC for payment and travel purposes.
In addition, Watch GS 4 is also equipped with dual-frequency antennas for navigation and supports five satellite positioning systems: Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS. The smartwatch weighs 44 grams without the strap and has an adjustable wrist size of 140-210 mm.

Honor Watch GS 4 is available in three colors: starry sky exploration, galaxy shuttle, and jasper astrolabe. The last two models come with a leather strap and are priced at CNY 1,199 ($165/€155/INR 13,830), while the first model comes with a silicone strap and is priced at CNY 999 ($140/€130/INR 11,520). . Honor Band 9 uses a 1.57-inch rectangular AMOLED 60Hz touch display with a resolution of 402×256 pixels and a pixel density of 302 ppi, and supports different watch faces. Its shell is made of polymer fiber and the strap is made of leather or silicone.
The smart bracelet has built-in 4MB RAM and 48MB storage space, and is compatible with devices running Android 9 and above and iOS 11 and above. It supports 96 indoor and outdoor sports modes (85 customized, 11 professional), and comes with heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking and blood oxygen level measurement. It can measure blood pressure levels and supports atrial fibrillation detection and menstrual period tracking for women.

Honor Band 9 features BLE 5.3 connectivity and NFC for payment and travel purposes. It also comes with onboard speakers and microphones, and comes with a battery that is said to last 14 days in typical usage and 10 days in heavy usage.
Other highlights of the Honor Band 9 include 5 ATM water resistance and music and camera controls.

Honor Band 9 comes in three colors: purple, black, and blue. The weight is 16.3 grams without the shoulder strap, and the length is adjustable from 135-200 mm. The NFC version of Honor Band 9 is priced at CNY 299 ($40/€38/INR 3,450), while the non-NFC version is priced at CNY 249 ($35/€32/INR 2,870).
