There’s a new food obsession taking over the internet—and this time, it’s a more affordable treat.
Little Caesars, a company known for its affordable “hot” pizza, released new Crazy Puffs on March 11, giving fast-food lovers a new handheld option.
Described by the company as “perfect bite-sized pizzas,” the treats are mini pizzas wrapped in leather cups, topped with classic red sauce, cheese, optional pepperoni and topped with a drizzle of garlic butter.
A pack of four puffs costs $3.99, and sides can be added to pizza orders to make the meal more substantial.
Repurposing a classic pizza to make it more portable may not seem groundbreaking, but according to the internet, the Crazy Puff may be one of the best things to come to fast food since sliced pizza.

Little Caesar’s Crazy Puffs: Taste test takes over social media
The puffs unexpectedly went viral on social media, with influencers and regular folks alike posting their taste tests and reviews.
If you judge by the flood of posts flooding TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), people are pretty happy with the experience. Some people even call eclairs their favorite item on the Little Caesars menu now or ever.
“Absolutely perfect,” said one X user, rating the puffs a 100/10. One commenter below the post agreed, sharing a photo of an empty Crazy Puffs box and saying “3 minutes is enough. I honestly didn’t even need to eat the second box but whatever I’ll do it all. I’ll never get rid of this weight.”

Another commenter on Little Caeser’s Instagram post said of the puffs: “I just found out about it on Monday. I’ve had them 3 times since. I’m mortified but they are so good and the size is perfect Suitable for me.” Another person under the same post said “I haven’t had a Little Caesar yet but had to try these. 10 out of 10 😋.”
Many users did recommend a side of marinara sauce, saying the puffs lacked a bit of something and there was no sauce to dip them in. Some who were less than impressed pointed to the lack of sauce as the source of their distaste, but others said the bready texture was exactly what they were looking for.
“I want to figure out what makes this pizza so delicious,” popular TikTok user @jordan_the_stallion8 said in a video that has been viewed 6 million times. “I don’t know what they put in this stuff, but it’s impossible. It’s legal,” he joked.
Similar posts on the platform show people opening boxes and biting into puffs, which, according to commenters, are clearly fresher.

‘Worth the hype’: Social media users rave (mostly) about Little Caesar’s Crazy Puffs
Like any new food, there are people online who aren’t fans. Major criticisms include the price compared to a $5 full pizza, lack of sauce or dip, the quality of the puffs deteriorates once they are stale/cooled, inconsistent quality, and simply the fact that they are the same few ingredients the way they are configured Slightly different.
However, the posts seemed overwhelmingly positive, which is rare on social media in 2024. So many people agreed, with many reviewers deeming the puffs “worth the hype” or saying they were convinced to try them by the rave reviews.
Is anyone else not so excited about this product? Some Little Caesars employees themselves have weighed in, with many posting comments on multiple platforms saying the eclairs were difficult or cumbersome to make and that the wait times were significantly reduced.
Some customers are also noticing longer wait times, up to 30 minutes in some cases, and locations that are sold out or not currently selling at all.
“Please delete this, I can’t stand it anymore,” said one commenter on the official Little Caesars post. “I can’t stand seeing this. I don’t want to smoke like crazy anymore as long as I live, ” said another.
Another worker complained: “The idea is there, but the execution is not yet. These things are too time-consuming to make and implement.” Another employee also said, “These things are difficult to make, please take them off.”
However, if the number of positive posts is any indication, it seems unlikely that Little Caesars will be deleting Crazy Puffs anytime soon.
