- OnePlus is launching a new mid-range phone in China this week.
- It’s called OnePlus Ace 3V and may be renamed OnePlus Nord 4 outside of China.
- The Ace 3V, launched on March 21, looks familiar to the OnePlus Nord CE 4 launched in India in April.
OnePlus has teased that its next-generation mid-range smartphone Ace 3V will be launched in the Chinese market with a release date of March 21, 2024.
OnePlus released a teaser video of the OnePlus Ace 3V on its Weibo page, showing off the complete design of the device. Unlike previous Nord phones, the Ace 3V will feature an improved camera module with two large sensors, followed by an LED flash aligned with the rear camera.
The device will also feature the popular alert slider, a feature exclusive to the company’s recent flagship phones, so it’ll be nice to see it on a mid-range OnePlus phone.
The sides of the device showcase its flat frame with rounded corners and a textured finish on the back. It will also be available in two color options, one with a purple finish and the other with regular black accents.
The Ace 3V will feature a punch-hole display on the front, and judging by the teaser video, the bezels look minimal. OnePlus is also emphasizing the phone as an AI phone for young people (according to the translated trailer).
Apart from this, OnePlus also confirmed the specifications of the upcoming Ace 3V, which includes a Snapdragon 7-series chip and a 5,500mAh battery capacity with support for 100W SuperVOOC charging.
In other regions like India, the OnePlus Ace 3V may be rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 4. However, this design is also present on the OnePlus Nord CE 4, which is scheduled to launch in the country in April. OnePlus has confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which also takes advantage of AI capabilities for mid-range Android phones.
