Stardew Valley Players have been waiting for nearly a year 1.6 Update Since launch by developer ConcernedApe make fun of it first. The wait is finally almost over, as the much-anticipated 1.6 update is set to go live today (March 19) in the beloved farming simulation game. Here’s what you need to know about when the update will go live and what it will contain.
While we don’t have an exact release date for the 1.6 update, we do know it will be released sometime today. Based on past updates, the launch will likely happen around 11 AM PDT/2 PM EDT. When asked when it would be updated, ConcernedApe Reply on X (formerly Twitter) “It’ll be fine tomorrow when I’m awake.”
In the week leading up to the release of update 1.6, Concerned ape will be releasing patch notes on the X every day.This starts with March 11 It was revealed that fruit trees will now produce proper fruit tree saplings. Here are our other patch notes so far:
- Fixed bug where harvesting from left to right was faster than harvesting from right to left
- Expanded scope of influence downward melee attack
- Reduced the time it takes to push a pet before it starts shaking let you go through them
- added a honeymoon period For spouses who last 7 days, they don’t stay in bed all day because they are upset
- Jelly, pickles, wine, and juice are now colored based on the ingredients used to craft the item
- You can drink mayonnaise now (But should you?)
- added new Meadowlands Farm Types In addition to starting with a chicken coop and 2 chickens, also includes chewy bluegrass for the animals to graze on
The game releases on March 19 for PC, Mac, and Linux.Mobile and console versions Stardew Valley Updates will be received at a later date, which has not yet been announced. As is the case with any update, players using mods should be aware that new updates may not work as intended by the installed mod. ConcernedApe has created a public Steam fork that will remain on version 1.5.6 for select players, and recommends people try playing version 1.6 without mods first.
