Thousands of Telstra customers across Australia are facing service disruptions.
More than 1,900 customers reported issues with the service on DownDetector, with calls and internet affected.
A Telstra spokesperson confirmed the network was experiencing problems but said calls to triple zero were not affected at this stage.
“We are investigating an issue affecting some mobile calls,” the spokesperson said.
“We are working hard to resolve the issue and hope to have everything back up and running as soon as possible.”

One customer reported that the phone would allow it to ring, then hang up and say the call failed.
“Do this on incoming and outgoing calls.”
Other customers said they could make calls but couldn’t hear the person on the other end of the line.
Telstra said the issue had been resolved by 2.30pm.
There is no effect on data or 000 calls.
The issue was caused by a software change and was resolved by rolling back.
