Xiaomi announced today that Civi 4 Pro will be available on March 21st. In a series of posts, Xiaomi confirmed that the phone’s chipset will be Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the triple cameras on the back will be enhanced by Leica.
The Civi 4 Pro will be available in four colors. The green (hero color) back panel will have a glass and a leather section, stylishly separated from each other.

According to the trailer on Weibo, the new Civi phone will focus on performance, photography and design. The frame will be flat and made of metal rather than plastic. The phone will weigh under 180 grams and have a base thickness of 7.45mm (excluding the protruding camera island).

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro comes with such a powerful chipset, which is a huge shift compared to previous Civi devices that used smaller SoCs. Their best-selling feature is the dual front-facing cameras aimed at young selfie-lovers.
We’ll have to wait for Thursday’s event to find out how much the Civi will cost, which will also set a baseline for future pricing of Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered devices.
