Samsung seems intent on launching the Galaxy F55 this year, and since it’s part of the F series, that means it will be very similar, if not identical, to the already released Galaxy A55. We’ve already seen the F55 receive Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification, and now Samsung itself has confirmed its authenticity.
The Korean company has created support pages for the F55 in Bangladesh and India. So not only is the F55 a genuine device in development, but it will be sold in at least these two countries once it becomes official.
It has model number SM-E556B/DS, has dual-SIM capability (that’s what the “DS” in the model number stands for), and that’s about it – no further information about the device has been found in the listing.
We know it supports Wi-Fi 6 through the aforementioned Wi-Fi certification, but otherwise the specs should be similar to the A55. This means you should expect a 6.6-inch 1080×2340 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen, Exynos 1480 SoC at the helm, 8/12GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, triple rear camera setup (50 MP main camera with OIS, 12 MP ultrawide camera) , 5 MP macro), 32 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.
